All the wealth earned through one’s hard work is meant to be given to and used for the benefit of the deserving. The wealth earned through hard work should be shared with and used to help those who truly deserve it—this is the noble teaching of Thiruvalluvar. The great poet does not confine the word “wealth” only to money; he includes in it the skills and knowledge one acquires through dedicated effort. These learned arts are also considered valuable possessions meant to be shared with worthy individuals.
